Our Key Stage 3 and 4 students began the year with a meaningful cultural excursion to Batu Caves and Thean Hou Temple, exploring Malaysia’s rich heritage beyond the classroom walls.
As students walked the grounds, observed their surroundings, and engaged in guided discussions, they asked thoughtful questions and gained deeper insight into the beliefs, traditions, and histories behind these important cultural landmarks. Learning unfolded naturally through experience, reflection, and shared discovery.
This excursion encourages cultural awareness, respect, and reflection, helping students connect classroom learning to the diverse world around them — learning through experience for a lasting impression.
